Quotations

Quotations are valid for 14 days from the quote date, unless agreed otherwise with Clear Sky Solar.

Invoice & Payment

As standard, all equipment and materials are paid prior to delivery and installation. A second invoice will cover the installation labour and delivery, and paid within 7 days following successful commissioning and handover.

Equipment Responsibility

The client must provide an agreed safe storage location for equipment. Following signed delivery to the safe storage, all equipment becomes the responsibility of the client.

Delivery & Installation

A target delivery date, installation schedule and commissioning date will be agreed during the quotation process. Whilst we take make every aim to work to these agreed dates, Clear Sky Solar are not responsible for delays in shipping or other external delays.

Commissioning & post-installation

A commissioning document will be completed following installation, signed by both client and installer. This document lists all of the details of the project, including warranty and registration. Also detailed in this document is the training given by Clear Sky Solar for correct use of the equipment. Following this handover, responsibility for correct use and maintenance passes to the client. Clear Sky Solar cannot be responsible for misuse of equipment once a system has been commissioned. Solar equipment can easily be damaged by misuse e.g. by changing settings in system controllers, overloading systems or inadequate maintenance of batteries. This type of damage is not covered by warranty, and is not the responsibility of Clear Sky Solar, following suitable training on the equipment.

Warranty

All new equipment is provided with a standard manufacturer’s warranty, varying by make and model. Registration of each product takes place at the time of commission.
